from what I heard, the stereo is awesome! I drove a 4 cylinder EX coupe... with the auto... that was actually very nice... I'd say it'd beat my 5th gen.

Honda recomends a 600 mile break-in period... my brother went to 1000 miles on his SI before taking it hard.

Car and Driver said the brakes are not the greatest... on the car I drove they seemed ok, but could use some improvement...

The only complaint I have is that the stereo and climate controls are a tad hard to use, but i'd get used to it if I owned the car.

I would have driven a V6, or at least a manual... but all the dealer had was the 4's with the auto.
I was still impressed though. I LOVE the interior!!!

i have about 1950 miles so far, i really gotta do something about these. there is nothing wrong with them mechanically its just the pedal that squeeks. when i took it in they oiled it a little bit, two days later squeeky

We had the same problem with the brakes at first, but now there are a little over 1000 miles on the car and everything seems fine, although the heated seats don't seem to heat up! It's going into the dealer for that on Friday, but it still pisses me off. I called the guy at the dealership up and he said "they don't get too hot, man". I said listen buddy, the seats in my car heat up so hot in about 2 minutes that you have to turn them off, these things don't heat up AT ALL! Anybody else with the V6 have this problem? I can't feel anything when they are turned on, but I will definately get it fixed, it can't be right. My a s s heat warms them up better than the seat heaters do! About the stereo, I don't know who here has a 6th gen EX V6, but the stereo in that is much better than the stereo in the new car, it doesn't get nearly as loud, and the sound is not as clear. I agree with the stereo/climate control issue, they are kinda hard to figure out at first, I never know which button I am going for, but you figure it out eventually. My only gripe (besides the heated seats not working) is the horrible blind spot when changing lanes, I can't see anything! It's not nearly as bad as the RSX (the worst left blind spot EVER), but it's close.

Actually I'm pretty impressed with the stock stereo system in my 03' Accord EX-V6 Coupe. Maybe because the stock system in my 2000 Honda Prelude was kinda disappointing. Doing a lane change is somewhat difficult so when I do make a lane change I have to do a lot more looking over the shoulder than I would have to with the Prelude.

As for the heated seats, I've really only used them twice since I've had the car. Works pretty good for now but the brakes do dust a lot! It rained for almost 7 days straight here in Washington State and I finally got a chance to wash my Accord today and the front rims where dirty! They dust more than the brakes on the Prelude and the Prelude has the AEM Big Brake Upgrade kit and AEM/Nissan pads. BTW, it's starting to rain again...

If i turn the heated seats to high they burn my ass, but its still cool. Well I've reached 600 miles and commemerate I abused a 2000 Maxima on the Gowanus (those of u from NY know there are no cops for a large stretch). The brake dust is piling on though :/

Can somebody point me to data on the 6 speed? I'd love to know how it performs.

I'm thinking of putting down money on the only one my dealer expects to get this spring.

the auto tranny is greatly improved over the 6th gens, plus a 5-spd auto helps to keep the revs lower when cruising on the freeway and save gas.

they're nice cars, IMO get the EX , those alloy wheels complete the car. the lx with hubcaps ruins the car IMO.

I just bought my 03 accord coupe V6 ex today, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I didn't come home for hours after leaving the dealership.... I would recommend it to anyone- you just can't get more bang for your buck! Even my boyfriend, who never thought he would like anything as much as his bmw, took it out for a romp and praised its behavior...

- black ex v6 coupe w/spoiler: nothing better.
