Default 92 Honda accord suspension and steering issues...

I have a 1992 honda accord that likes to vibrate the steering wheel when the brakes are applied. Sometimes its worse than other times. It seems to only vibrate at a certain brake pressure. What can I check? Also...I just developed a squeel in the front end when turning the steering wheel. Anything common on these cars?

Vibration in the steering wheel when you apply the brakes is most likely a warped rotor.

my civic did that when i got some new tires. It would do the exact same thing and it was that i needed to get the wheels balanced. its real cheap and i would try that. ALso the turning issue is probably your dust shield touching the rotor, i also had that same problem. All i did was bend it backwards and it quit. Try that and let us know what happens

If it's only when you apply the brakes, most likely warped rotor(s) in the front (since you feel through the steering wheel). If you feel it w/o applying the brakes, I'd lean towards unbalanced wheel or a damaged/failing tire.
