Default Need Some Advice

I got a 4 door Accord Lx, white, with minimal rust. I tried to sell it but no takers...( was asking 2 g's) It has a full pioneer system...hu, spkrs, etc.

So my question is, I want to hold onto it if no one buys it soon. Rather than keeping it mostly stock, I want to mod it. The car has 193k...would it be pointless to do a swap because the chassis has that much on it? The swap would be a jdm f20b, because I don't the the h22a, and it'd be original...

Anything else to consider?

engine, auto tranny, ecu, alternator, oem header and downpipe, basically a full swap. It's from a USDM 95 Accord EX.

Hmm, I would seriously consider that. I need to look into some financial crap, and if it works out, I'll take it...

I've looked up prices for that swap that are around 1500...so why so low?

It's so cheap cause I think your thinking of the JDMF22b swap. This is a USDM F22b1 which is in every USDM 94-97 EX Accord. I actually wanted more at first, but it's been on sale since May. It really is a deal given the fact that timing belt/water pump were done at 89K and it has 99.8K and it's from a one owner vehicle which was well maintained.

Where are you located, cause depending on shipping it may not be worth it?

I am located in Cincinnati OH. My father has an office in New Haven, which is a bit closer to you, so maybe that might work out... I'll need to talk it over with him.

Did you swap that out of your accord for something else?

Yep it's from my Accord which I bought off my parents in '99. My mom drove the first 62K on it and she drives like a grandma, I don't really understand why she has a V6 coupe.

Shipping to OH probably wouldn't be too bad, it's just I had people from Texas and Mississippi interested, but the shiping was like $350. OH, would be in the $250 range is my guess.

The motor is sitting at the shop in Methuen, MA which if you want to save some money would be a worth while weekend roadtrip. I went to Cedar Point this summer and it only took like 12hrs.
