http://freepages.autos.rootsweb.com/...comp-problems/

That web site talk's about problems with ssr competition rims, problem's with bent rims. In 17" those rims are $375 each, minimmum. I'm really worried if it's a common problem with the super lite weight rims, like Velox PG-5's.

I never claimed my Tenzo's were great quality, but they were FREE, so I slapped them on. as I SAID, I WORKED FOR A DAMN PERFORMANCE SHOP, I have probably sold/seen more wheels and tires in the 3 years working there than you will see in all the car magazines you read.... I KNOW WHAT I AM talking about when it comes to wheels, if you own konig wheels, and take offense to what Im sayin TO DAMN BAD, that is my experience with every damn konig wheel we have sold and/or bought, not to mention the ones we fixed.... the only thing worse than those are the TSW wheels we have fixed. If you dont want to believe me... fine, but its not gonna change my opinion of the wheel.

And even if it werent for the fact of quality, the wheels are STILL a dime a dozen on the street, at least with my Tenzo's, everyone and there mom isnt sporting them

every rim will bend if you hit it hard enough. i dont see why you say Konigs suck because they bend. i've seen Volk rims that bend. i've seen an LE-37T bent just 3 weeks ago. if you hit a pothole with any rim its gonna bend. you say theyre so bad and you see them at your shop all the time, why are they at your shop? bent? cracked?

2 biggest reasons are for curbing (bending at the lip) and the leaking (hairline cracks in the wheels, most likely stress/fatigue caused)

so if i take a Volk rim and run it against a curb it wont show at all? how are you gonna say they suck cause people curb them? maybe you should say the people driving with them dont know how to drive. i've never seen a rim that had hairline cracks in it. maybe i just havent seen enough rims. i'm sure if you hit a pot hole hard enough with any rim its gonna crack

All wheels suck to someone. Everyone has different tastes and price ranges.
