College campus is like heaven to car thieves, its like avg. there is a car jacked every day/nite on my campus....kids from out of town bring in nice cars while attending school and thieves just go on a "shopping" spree at the parking lots.

People even jacked cars right in front of our house... one time i prevented a theft on my roomates car cuz i was up late studying and heard noises and peeked thru the window, saw some fool scoping the cars out, ran out with a 6 cell maglite and chased them. all i saw was the tail lights of a primered integra peelin away.

1)A friends TL hit up near campus, all audio taken (one of 15 cars in a row on the street that got hit up, getto chopper and many cops investigated after being reported)
2)tricked out friends legend stolen in front of our house within 2 hrs that he left it there when we all carpooled to a party.
3)roomate's stereo stolen from accord thats on driveway
4)roomate's vandalism, broken passnger window 300zx on the street in front of house.
5)friend's gf integra stolen on college parking lot during midday!

(i guess our house is known to have fixed up cars, cuz when everyone comes and chill we pretty much take up the whole block which can be quite a scene...and acquire unwanted attn....but thats the disadvantage with the hobby of modding cars)

Maybe we could post some of the aftermarket stuff that was stolen and keep an eye out for it. If you have anything specific on your car maybe etch a couple of numbers on it somewhere no one would see. If someone steals it and someone else keeps a look out and sees it you can look and ID with your numbers. Also keep an eye out on ebay. And we can all start paying more attention to car alarms. If you hear one going off go and take a look an ask if everything is OK? Make sure they know you are coming so they have a chance to run, you don't want to corner a professional thief with a screwdriver.

That's what I've always done. Haven't caught anyone yet but it's a good message to send these jerks. WE ARE WATCHING!

Default damn makes me think twice about my rims this week heh

Yo thats suck dude, one thing for sure, most of the time is someone u know even if is just whatsup! or just someone that hates u. same chit is happening here with my friends and cousin, they even follow one of my friend last year and stole his accord, a few days later the guy that lives above me got his car stolen from the block, n the same month my cousin got his SI stolen from his garage and on top of all this i already lost a 94 coupe black accord, i got it back with nothing then i fix it up and sold it and guess what, it got stolen from that person i sold it to heh.

only in america the thieves and criminals are protected by the law, so how about change the law, there has to b someone that has some type of connection or something us good ppl who work our ass off can do to change and make new law. first change should be, u are allow to kill any thieve trying to take ur stuff period. all thieves should get at least 10yrs n jail without any chance of getting out, cant say lifetime since is not realistic n this country. i keep a baseball bat n my trunk and one nice blade at home. nmm if i ever catch a thieve trying to get my accord i will take his eyes out and make him swallow them so he wont know what i got n my car hehe.

now i got my stuff ready for anything, real time gps tracking system by phone, voicemal, email or website live tracking , so let me find out where u are and i will be there n 10secs and u are so dead .

I had my car '96 Accord stolen on my college campus (UC Berkeley) about 4 months ago. They later found it but luckily it wasn't stripped (just the radio and little things).

Does the brake club prevent thefts? That's really the only protection I have on my car. I can't accord a nice alarm system and the lock is still pretty jacked up. I don't have a radio in yet.

If those clubs don't work, how do they get them off? I put it on religiously btw.

I say, we form a small little mafia type thing. Then we find out who these freaks are, and whack them one by one. Cause they dont deserve to live....

Do your Accords have the built-in kill switch? Any of you had a 6th or 7th gen Accord stolen? I just wonder if thieves target these as much as older ones...

Almost a decade ago, my dad had his car stolen off of our own driveway. I now want to take every precaution to keep my 7th gen from being stolen. I put on the club religiously and etched the windows. I'm considering getting some alarm in the spring, not sure which one yet...
