We just purchased an accord, and it had the transmission changed at about 30k under warranty at the dealer becuase of a leaky seal or something of the sort. ALl the paperwork is theere. Now, we bought it a few days ago, and it has 55k on it now, and the transmission seems a little rough shifting. I know this is a common issue on some hondas....but wanted to double check. Is this something that is a warning sign of a busted tranny?

Also, one other thing--the temp gauge never reaches the half way point exactly. It sort of hangs a little below the half way mark. Please let me know if you have any usggestions/insight/whatever. Thanks inadvance

 

The 4-speed shifts rougly, it's just something it does. Not the smoothest shifting auto out there.

The temperature gauge....if you want a piece of mind, check coolant and have them check the thermostat at your next service.

 

The temp on the accord will not reach the center the warm spot is below the center mark
