Default How To Take Off 5th Gen. Door Panels??

I can't get them off... I gave up once I was convinced that I was going to break something... I don't know what has to be pried out etc. Please someone help me!!! It's a 1995 Accord Coupe EX... trying to get drivers and passenger side doors off!

take the inside door handle off. take the sail behind the mirror off. the lock thing that goes up and down, unscrew that. pull the door panel around the edges. you might have to pull a little hard. there's clips that are popped on there. it's hard for me to explain.

with the accords, you might have tug out, then up to get the pannel of. that's the way it was with the 6th gens at least.

My 5th gen is pretty easy. I've taken off all 4 door panels. But then again I have a DX, so there isn't much .. Just the window crank, small covery thingy behind the mirror and then you can pull of the panel.

What are you trying to do? I took mine off to paint the moldings, but even with primer with a flex agent, and paint, it cracked and smeared off. Going to take the paint off when it warms up some.

you have to pull out and up. and make sure you get the screw on the little handle thing, and the screw on your lock panel. your also gonna have to disconnect the harness for the windows.

I have a '95 EX Sedan, and I took the two front door panels off to replace speakers. It might not be the same, but there are just 2 screws, one near the center of the door handle behind a plastic cap, and one in the indented part of the armrest....also has a plastic cap over it. Then just pop the black plastic triangles behind the mirrors off.
The rest of the panel is just clipped on.....I started from the bottom of the panel and just carefully ripped it off. The whole handle part can just be twisted sideways and slip out....doesn't need to be taken off. It sucks cause my friend has a 94 LX and his speaker grills just pop off without removing the panels, mine are screwed in from inside......

Would it not fit, or does it hit the back? if it hits the back, take a razor blade and cut out as much as you need to make it fit
