just curious...im lookin into gettin a new/used accord and gas mileage is a big concern for me right now, since im driving almost 500 miles a week =/....i've looked on Edmonds.com but the ratings dont seem right...i just wanted to know what everyone is getting out there...

well i just wanted to know...what's the gas mileage for a:
(in terms of MPG not miles to a tank)
6th gen 4cyl accord
6th gen v6 accord
7th gen 4cyl accord
7th gen v6 accord

25-28 MPG 6th gen coupe i4 MT

(haven't really had a long road trip on her so i wouldn't really know the all highway mileage )

 

I get 28-29 mpg on a mix of city/highway/VTEC driving with a JDM H22 and 5sp.

On the road trip to the Mass HAN meet I got 32 mpg and that consisted of about 75-80 and sometimes 90mph the whole way.

I'm pretty impressed.

 

how about autos? i mostlikely would get an auto...how's the mpg on those?

Im not sure the MPG in my 5th gen 4 banger, but Im only getting approx. 270-300 miles per tank, and that's doing 75% city driving.

 

i have a 02 coupe I4 manual. I get anywhere from 28-30 miles per gallon. I do a 50/50 mixture of city/highway driving. My friend, who has a 01 sedan I4 automatic gets about 22-23 miles per gallon. Hope that helps.

 

My 4th gen I4 AT with 159k miles gets 21 mpg city. Kind of crappy -- I know my somewhat aggressive driving style can't account for all of it. I guess it's just getting old.

 

Not sure the mpg, i think its in the upper 20s. I get About 330-340 miles a tank. 96 sedan i4

 

i have 94lx 5speed and most of my driving is city. I get like 270 -260 from my tank is that good?
