94-97 accord transmission

My 96 Accord has 266,000 miles on it and I just started having transmission problems. It's currently in the shop awaiting diagnosis.

Well, it's confirmed my transmission is dead at 266,000 miles.

I have 180k on my '94 EX & the tranny seems fine. I drain and fill the tranny fluid & clean the magnetic drain plug every 15k.

I have 240k on a 97 accord 4 cylinder with original fluid, never any problems, and car still running great (needs brakes)

I got 254,000 miles before trans went a few months back. Only one trans fluid change on the original!!

115k miles and the auto transmission was replaced at under 100k miles. Honda auto transmission are less reliable and 10 mins slower.

comin up on 200k in my 96, still going strong, fluids flushed every spring!
