Default 93 accord, what/where to buy, maintenance

hey guys this might be a bit long, so bear with me, hehehe

I just bought off my sisters 93 accord EX for $3500, 88k, premium sound (benzi box), I'm a regular over at altimas.net cause I also have a 2002altima, but I am lettting my parents drive that around, and work on my gf's car sometimes (97altima) ...so anyways.....

I have some mechanic ability (done rotors/brakes, oil/trannyfluid/changes, radio/speaker installs, basic maintenance etc etc, but nothing as major as a tranny/engine swap), I also have basic tools ( sockets, wrenches, jack stands/pump jack, spring compressor, etc) so here comes the questions (and when answering, I do not have the most money in the world, so please refrain from telling me to get this and this and that, not all of us can have so much money ) ....

First, my brother in law says that it needs new motor mounts, how much do they run, and is it a hard install, can I just jack up my car, and support the engine with my pump jack and a block of wood? any pointers? polyurethane or oem?

2nd, it also needs new rear pads/rotors, I've done it on other cars, how is it on this one? any pointers?

3rd, it needs new struts all around, I was gonna get the ones from tirerack (kyb gr2s?) how hard is that intall? pointers?

4th of course i'm gonna mod this (not too much tho) and I definitly want a short ram intake, where can I get a good price, I see some on ebay, same question for fsb, rsb, and some other basic bolt ons

5th, it needs a cd player, I am prolly gonna go with a panasonic, but how is the install on this one? does it matter that I have premium sound? (the benzi box thats removable, I believe its a dealer or factory option), does it make a difference in which harness I buy, or should I just buy a generic 93 accord wiring harness?

if some of the questions are too newbie-ish please point me in the right direction to look for my answers, I've already done a basic search but still need answers to my questions, thanx~!

well ive done 3 and 5 so here goes

for installing new struts, it's not too bad but start spraying liquid wrench or pb blaster on the bolts now, they need a little while to loosen, a lot of people have problems with siezed bolts on their hondas,( i had one)

for the head unit buy a harness for a 93 accord ex unless you like splicing wires a whole lot and the wires from that connect pretty easily to most hu's . to install it it's kind of a hassle, you have to take out the center console by the e-brake and gearbox, then you can access the cig tray from the bottom to take that out, then you can finally work on the hu

hoped i helped some

Wow, you got a pretty good deal. I paid $3000 for my 93 EX with 150k miles on it. Just out of curiosity, what color is it?

kmfdm- thanx, yea I figured I would have to pb-blast it, I'm not even sure if my brother in law EVER changed any of the struts, and thanx for the tips on the radio, I ended up ordering a JVC KD-SH55 for 200bux on crutchfield, so hopefully the provided harness will line up ok (got the 93 accord EX harness)

Rycechyk -its black

I'll prolly end up pickin up a Haynes manual this weekend, but more help/suggestions are welcome for my other questions~!
