I went to drive my car home from work and the clutch pedal had very little pressure to it, like it was very soft. It was fine when I drove it to work. I checked the brake fluid and it was fine. There is a little reservoir next to the brake fluid reservoir that was empty. The cap said to put DOT 3 fluid in it so I put some brake fluid in it before I drove it home. The clutch pedal was still soft. The car went into all gears, but it felt like the clutch would just barely engage. Can anyone tell what is wrong? 94 Accord EX 5spd.

 

I checked all the lines and the master and I dont see any leaks. I put fluid in the clutch reservoir and the pedal is still soft.

 

Since the clutch reservoir was empty, you need to bleed the clutch. Just putting fluid in the reservoir isn't enough.
