Bring the car to a nearest dealer. Seatbelts have LIFETIME warranty. I had the same problem before on my old car (91 Prelude) so I took the car to a dealer and they replace the whole assembly (seat belt and retractor) for free.:chuckles:

Call your nearest Honda dealer and find out. The dealer near my place even provided me a rental car for a day because they don't have the part plus they said it is not safe to drive the car with defective seatbelt retractor.

no joke, they have too... it's a big lawsuit for them if they're seatbelt has failed and you get tapped... so they'd rather take the hit on free cost.. besides it's only 3-5 bolts max, so not like they spend a helluva lot on labor.

I just found out from my dad that the seat belt on my old car which he drives now is ****ed up again. Honda replaced that about 18 months ago. He'd been driving the car with screwed up belt for about 4 months now. I brought the car to the dealer near our house and they will order a new one.
