Default Time For A New Battery

Ok well my battery has finally bitten the dust. I was wondering if you guys have any paticular suggestions on the brands I should be looking at and which one's I should avoid. I am not looking into Optima's or anything like that. I have a 91 lx coupe with a 600 watt amp, 2 subs, undercar neon kit, strobes, just to name some extra's on my car so I am looking for a good dependable battery that can handle all of these things with no porblem, I assume it will be a bit bigger in CCA and CA than what I currently have, the only problem is the sticker is gone off the batt. I have now so I have no idea what the specs are on it. All idea's and suggestions are greatly appreciated on this guys...
Thanks in advance,
91AccordCoupe

most places can tell you what the recomended battery is for the car... just go with a reputable name battery... and if you want, get one with a higher capacity... as long as the physical size remains the same. Usually the more expensive batteries have higher CCA and CA than the cheaper batteries of the same physical size.

Well don't have a Costco here but just to add to it with the above "extra's" on my car what would be a good CCA and Ca and when does it reach the point of overkill as far as cca and ca go~
Thanks again for the replies guys keep them coming~

My battery died a few months ago in my 94 accord and i replaced it with a diehard maintenence free battery. I don't no how much extra stuff it can handle (like what you got) but it works for me and was about 60 or 70 bucks. Ive seen rockford fosgate batteries that are made for a car like yours. I think they were $100+. Whatever you get, i suggest it be maintenence free cuz always adding water to those things can be a pain.

I would suggest a Die Hard Silver or Gold series. I have a gold series, and it's awesome.

Many Die Hard batteries are rated no.1 in Consumer Reports. So you can't go wrong with Die Hard, usually.

I got a Die Hard Gold Series with 300 more cold cranking amps and 500 more cranking amps than the red top optima (the best one) for $43 less than the optima no thanks on those, in my personal opnion they are way over rated if they were so good how come consumer reports didn't rate optima's at all, oh well all in opnion I guess it's all cool, by the way thanks to all that helped me make the decision to go with die hard
Good lookin out fella's
