Is there a Honda emissions warranty that would cover my 6th GEN EGR system?

This could've been asked in your original thread bro. And I don't understand what you're saying...if you're within your car's 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty, it'll be covered. Are you asking about a recall or TSB? If so, then no, there isn't.

actually since the EGR is part of the exhaust/emissions system then it falls under the 5yr/60K warranty, look in the owner's manual. the basic warranty is 3/36K but body/rust protection is like 5yr/unlimited mileage & exhaust/emissions is like 5yr/60K, it seems to be the law or industry standard becuz most cars i hav seen are similar.

my "check engine" light has been on for probably 50k miles. autozone's OBDII reader says it's the EGR valve. Well, I pulled the mufukca off since it's actually an easily accessible item in the engine bay and really didn't know what to look for.
i think new ones run up around $100+

I had my CAT replaced at 66,000 MI - free of charge.

I've read that the cat IS covered to 80,000 miles, but from my research I've havent seen any mention of actual sensor parts of the emissions system, just the cat. I dont see anything about the 80,000 warranty in the manual. Am I missing something? I tried to call the dealer today to ask, but they put me on hold for 10 minutes, but then I had to get off the phone without talking to them. i might try calling Honda themselves (NOT the dealer).
