Hey- Just bought a 2007 Accord VP for my son. He isn't going to need it for a month so I have been driving it. My first Japanese car since a Datsun in the 80's.
I'm going to do front brakes, pollen filter, air filter, oil and filter and then its going from PA to CA.

It is fabulous! Great seats,AC, good acceleration and runs flawlessly, all this with great mpg. My Lincoln LS V-8 is sitting and will soon be replaced by an Accord. The Lincoln has had many failures... electric seat , door latch ,fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, have all failed. It is no wonder that GM, Ford, and Chrysler are it trouble.

Preaching to the choir... LOL

Your other thread is about replacing the brakes...
There's stories about the rotors being easy to warp on those cars, so try bedding in the new pads/rotors like this:

Find someplace you can do this without being stupid in traffic.
Brake real, REAL HARD from say 50 to 10 mph. DO NOT STOP.
Drive around for 5 or 10 minutes so they cool down.
Do it all again 8 or 10 times.

Most times, 'warped' rotors aren't really warped. They get pad material deposited unevenly over the surface of the rotor. After doing this, the rotors seem to tolerate normal use much better.
