i'm in the process of boring out my throttle body from a 55 mm to a 60 mm...i've seen aftermarket bodys with a straight bore and some that are taper bored...my stock one is tapered...which is better?
I would think the tapered would be to your advantage just because it would accelerate the air as it goes into the manifold. Increased flow = more power, but that's just speculation
its not costing me a dime to do this i'm working through school to be a machinist and my dad is a machinist so i have the knowledge and the equiptment...i also plan on decking the head in the near future when i rebuild the motor
