Default 2000 Accord Brake Lamp Light

I have a 2000 Accord LX Coupe. Several months ago, the brake lamp light came on. All rear brake lights are fine, and work. I have replaced them all, but the light continues to randomly come on and off. The light will come on when pressing the brake, and when you turn the car on again, it is off. The brake fluid level is fine. Is there a sensor that needs to be replaced?

The brake fluid reservoir / juice hopper has a very sensitive lid. There's a ball and bobber on there that might have gotten stuck.

Unscrew the cap, shake it, and put it back on.

Tried that, same thing. The light will be out when you start the car, and you can gently tap the brake, and the light will come on and remain on until the car is turned off again.

The brake fluid reservoir uses the same warning lamp as the handbrake. It sound like bluesol is talking about the warning lamp for burned-out brakelight bulbs.

That one works from difference in wattage from side-to-side. If one bulb is getting ready to burn out, it might set this off. Or maybe corroded or loose connections one side or the other. Sometimes just replacing ALL bulbs ensures that they all match each other.

Then there's the sensor... It's #24 in the picture, but it's not clear to me exactly where it's located.
