will the outer tail light on the 96/97 fit into the 94/95 spot?

its not worth it, if you want an inner tail think about the inners from the gs400 or is300 that would look nice, and its possible with a little fabrication.....

its not for my car
and its the outers my friend really wants to do it just so he looks diff
and i was like we could just get 94/95 clear ones and paint the bottom red and leave the top little section clear and put the reverse there
and he's like i want the 96/97 one(stubborn guy!)
so now he wants me to help him heat gun the lenses off a 96/97 light and take his apart an make the lense fit
but i don't think its the same shape

i understand what you are trying to do. . .i couldnt tell you if it would fit or not though, its something ive thought about a couple of times. when you see a 96-97 drivin by you, you think maybe it might, but really, im betting it doesnt. . .

the 94-95 is a bit wider on the bottom of the light, compared to the 96-97. the 96-97 will fit, but it will leave a huge gap.
