please read carefully before attempting , if at any time you make a mistake please stop, start the car and start over.

1 sit in car with doors closed and windows up and point remote in the
direction of pass side glove box area at all times

2 turn ignition to on (do not start) , pause , press and release lock button
on remote , turn ignition to off

3 repeat 2

4 repeat 2

5 turn igniton to on , press and release lock button on remote , when locks
cycle(jump up and down) press and release lock button again

6 if programming more than one remote within 15 seconds point 2nd remote to
glove box area press lock button on remote once .you may repeat for a total
of up to 4 remotes

7 turn off igniton and remove key.

it should.. I lost a remote and bought one off of ebay from a 98. he gave me the instructions so it should work. I liked spending $15 for another remote muuuuch better than $80 from the dealer. Also I found if you program one remote 4 times in a row, it locks the other remotes out, which is good if you lost one. What I did was programmed 1 remote 4 times, then it exits, then I programmed the two remotes so that they are the only ones that work.
