I have replaced the front left window actuator and motor ... when I tested it, the window went down and will not go up. I have a sneaking suspicion that the problem was not the motor but the power window switch. How can I test the switch for the drivers side front window?

 

Go to the junk yard and snatch one out of another car.Shouldn't be any more than $10,although that won't guarantee you that your problem will be solved.I would suggest that before you do anything,heavily lubricate the window tracks and all moving parts with a silicone based lubricant.
