Hi Everybody,

I have a 6th gen 02 v6 accord.
I'm keep getting this code, P0780 which is shift malfunction.
On my dashboard D4 flash, TCS and engine light comes on. I turn off engine all lights are gone except the engine light. All other gear works fine.
Do I need to replace my tranny soon???

I had similar thing happen on my 99 accord v6.

Make sure you have the radio code first!!!

Disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes. Then reconnect. This will reset the computer and therfore the shift points will relearn.

The tranny computer get confused sometime.

Does your engine runs rough when that happens?

Have a aftermarket radio, not worry about the code.
Yes, it does. The engine run hotter then normal.
I always reset the light with diagnostic code reader.
