First of all, it's VTEC. You must know this and respect what it means before you do anything. Variable Valve Timing with Lift Electronic Control, it ain't Ford Zetec which means nada.

For the 94 Accord (5th generation), many swaps are available. I'm sure someone else can give you a complete run down, but the best engine IMO to pop in there is the H22 (2.2L 4 Cylinder DOHC VTEC)from the Prelude. It comes in a few of styles, from 190HP North America version to 220HP Japanese version. It has quite a bit of torque and lots of high end thrust.

I believe the other available engines (and easily swapped) are just the F22 and the F23 (I think it'll work in there anyway).

Also the H23 will work if you want to boost.

Go to h22a.org and read there they have some good info.

Depends. www.jdmhondaparts.com has good ideas, as does one of our sponsors. But those are for engines only. Or you could call around to junkyards. But it'll probably run you 3,000-5500 depending on engine type and labor costs.

the H22 is torqueless. my F23 stock puts out more torque than an H22 with intake and exhaust. yes they are quick. but dont tell the guy they have lots of torque
