Will these tires cause issues?
I have been desperately searching for the right tire to replace my 215/50/17's on my TSX wheels and was wondering if a 245/45/17 will cause any rubbing issues with the chassis. I have an Eibach Springs Pro Kit which is for a 1.5" drop all around(actually slightly more in front than 1.5") and was wondering if such a wide tire will cause rubbing issues.
I ask because through the upsizing calculator, that size(245/45/17) shows absolutely no difference in overall diameter from stock(205/60/16). Please let me know so I can continue my search. Thank you!

It isn't about the diameter.
215 to 245 is 30mm extra width, 15mm on each side. That's 5/8 inch. Take a look at your present 215 tires & see how much space there is between the inboard sidewall to the shock or the upper ball joint or the top of the steering knuckle. Check the outboard side against the fender lip.
Make sure you check at the extremes of steering & suspension deflection.

This is the page which mentions the results for the size. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
I would like to use the size which perfectly matches the stock diameter, but still have some reservations about it. I have seen another Accord with that size tire on it, but with the stock suspension. I'm going to have to take some measurements when I get back to the wheels, which are seperate from my car right now. But thanks for the input. Any more suggestions are very welcome!

The wheels aren't on the car now (with 215 tires)? When you measure, make sure you consider the wheel's offset. So if you want to measure against your 205 tires on 16" rims, the extra 40mm (1+9/16inch) isn't necessarily evenly split outside & inside.
