When I took off that cover thing... with the hand on it... it looked like headers under there... at least the shape. I thought that a manifold was more like one peice rather than 4 distinct seperate tubes that are later joined into 2, then 1...

they're all playin with you. the tubes that you saw is the HEADER (singular). if you have headerS you'd have to be running a V or H whatever engine.

Depends your application? If your planning additional mods on your engine ( port, rods, pistons) then i would suggest going with aftermarket headers, if not save the money for something else! =)

I feel the DC header helped my F22b1 after I had AEM CAI and full catback installed. It seemed to pull harder from around 4,500 to redline.

I'd like to see someone dyno test a 94-97 stock v. DC header so we can put this nonsense to rest. Just because it doesn't make as much power gain as an lx/dz doesn't mean it's not worth it. You can look at a H22, B18C, and B16A header and say those are good too, but it proven that aftermarket ones can add a noticeable amount of power.

He's asking a serious question. Why be a dick? I'm sorry, you probably were born with knowledge of all types of cars. Grow the fawk up.

Note: Inline engines have a header.

Yes you do have headers. All cars have headers. And since yours is an EX its already 4-2-1 so don't waste your money on aftermarket headers.
haha, watch out, dont let blackmagic find out your calling your stock header a header. hes gonna flame everyone and your mother.

even tho ex's come 4-2-1, an aftermarket header has larger pipes.
