Default Cat-back piping

For those of you who didn't buy a full cat back, instead had a shop bend some for you, how much did you pay for it? Meineke says they will mandrel bend some 2 1/4" piping for me w/MagnaFlow muffler(Race series) for $300, is that a decent price?

They wont mandrel bend it, they wil crush bend it. But I've heard of the cruish bent piping going for just 55-70 bucks, installed w/no muffler

i dont believe it is mandrel bent at a meineke. the cost of mandrel bender is expensive as hell, thats why places like greddy, dc sports etc are the ones that have em most of the time. if meineke is making it by welding mandrel bends then i will belive it. also at 2.25 inch and smaller...it is possible to get good bends with crush bent though. not as good as mandrel but still decent.

I wouldn't lie to you, no need to. I talked to the dude at Meineke, he showed me a bend the machine makes, it's mandrel bent, not crush bent, I promise. Now, back on topic, how much did u guys pay for your custom mandrel bent cat back piping?

I would say about $100-$150 for the piping and installation of the muffler.

I didn't mandrel bend, but just to give you a comparison, $80 for installing muffler and larger piping. Gotta love connections =)
