Default Clutch Seized

1993 Honda Accord LX -- been sitting for a few months. Started it up for maintenance and the clutch pedal would not depress. I think this is probably a hydraulic clutch and I am guessing the master cylinder has seized. What would cause this? Is is possible to unseize it by adding some heat?

Where is the master cylinder and is it accessible from above?

Thanks for any advice -- Clifton

some cars have a master and a slave cylinder their usually not that expensive. when mine went out i jsut started with the cheaper one and naturally it was the other but at 165k miles didnt think it could hurt to change both. mine was accessible from the top it was on the side ot the transmisson. i probly wouldnt try to work it loose with heat or anything mine were only like 30 dollars for slave and 60 for master
