Default Is more than an alignment neccessary?

I have a 98 Accord, the car gradually shift from left to right on high speed like 80 miles/hour, knowing that I know I need an alignment. However, when driving at a very slow speed like in a parking lot and turning there is certain squeaking, which can be noticed. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Should more be done other than an alignment?

The alignment would not cause the car to shift from left to right at high speed. You may have bad inner or outer tie rod ends, a loose rack, loose steering coulomb, loose steering wheel. The noise is probably related to all the above or dried out top or bottom ball joints. Some thing is bad and may cause you to loose control of the car get it looked at as soon as possible.

A bad alignment can cause a pull left or right but not both at the same time it also causes your tires to wear out faster. Thats about it mines bad handling.

i would def. get it looked at.

I have heard from a few mechanics that when/if a tir rod breaks while driving, the results can be fatal.
