Water - CAI issue
I don't know what you called it, AEM made it for their CAI system to help block rain and water from entering the Engine. I don't know if that'll fit into other CAI system??? or diff Intake has diff Diameter for my 94 EX?

Its called a by-pass valve and i suggest u do not get it as it takes away from ur high end power gains, which in turn eliminate the whole reason u got the "cold air" intake in the first place.

it's called a bypass valve
i don't know about fitting into another brand intake
is your pipe 2 pieces cause then maybe you could make it work
or just hook it up right onto the throttle body maybe but i don't know if thats a good way to do it

thanks guys for opinions,
KMFDM, do you know how many misslead results of "WATER FILTER" in a search would come out, 99.9999% are misleaded. I do know what it does, but I don't know if the AEM ones can fit into DIFF intake brands. that's why I asked whether diff CAI system has diff Diameters, and I'm quite sure the answer is yes.
as for the rest, thanks y'all for replying, it's the term that I need to know" Bypass Valve. If I know it, i can just call NOPI right away and ask them.
Thanks again.

Will the bypass valve protect the engine from splashes of water? I know its designed for times when the CAI is submerged in water. Is a few drops of water even dangerous to the engine?
