It's like a turbo with .010 PSI. Very little power gains at all, not worth the money. Kinda takes the air, spins it, and makes it enter faster...but it's not powered by the engine like a real turbo. Don't buy it, it's a waste of dinero.

you're thinking of that powerfunnel thing. that's just like you said, it creates a vortex in your intake, so the air spins in a little better. that piece of crap on ebay is a fan you put in the intake tube that acts as an electric supercharger. in theory, they could work, but the only one's i've seen are single speed, so they don't. i think that if someone were to try to somehow get the speed of the fan to vary with engine rpm, it might work a little. even then, it's waste of money.

think of it this way, if it worked, an aftermarket manufacturer would have picked up the idea already. it sucks to have that attitude, but with car parts, you get what you pay for.

it doesnt work. Its a marine blower. none of those intake vortex type devices work. all of the air current in your intake gets diffused when it goes into the TB. if it FORCED more air (forced induction) it would work. theres only one product thats actually proven to work and thats a product by AEM. i dont remember what its called but they made a part that did what the vortex devices claimed. Difference between the AEM one and the others is the placement of the device. not sure if they still make it though...

I didn't even read it, I assumed it was a rip off of the poerfunnel vortex thing.
