Default ST Front Sway

Probably going to pick up a ST Front Sway...is it worth it...and would it negate the rear ST sway that I have in already...or would it compromise it and make my handling better and decrease overall body roll and stiffen up the chasis...

It would be $65 shipped for it...what do you guys think...

I wouldn't do it. It would cause understeer. The best set up is the ST rear bar and poly bushings with the OEM bar up front. This way you will be able to slide the rear out just a tad.

i wouldn't say it's a waste. it depends on how you like to drive. i have both bars. i don't have any understeer problems. it doesn't push into corners, but if traction does break, i think the front would go first. it's really, really hard to break traction in my car, though, so i would have to purposely do it to find out.

there was a guy a little while back from the altered4 crew who had an s/t rear bar and a stock front, then wanted to know if the front s/t bar would be any improvement for autocross. he bought the front bar and said it was completely neutral afterwards, and liked it.

Yep, that would be me .. I had just the rear on for a bit, and then went with the full front/rear setup. I actually like this better, more of a neutral balance.

How ever, just recently, I took the front back off and put the stock front back on .. so I could induce some more oversteer for auto-x, since our courses are so small.

I like the way the car handled with both bars, it didn't roll as much in the front as it does now.

my setup is tein HAs, s/t front and rear bars, and a neuspeed front strut.

if the comment about it being hard to break my car loose made you think i had some rediculous setup i'm sorry to disappoint. what i meant is that when i drive hard, it takes everything i give it. i haven't ran it for autocross or anything, so i'm sure that i could have it sliding all over if that were the case.

i just reread my post, and i guess it does sound as though i have a kick ass track car. not so in any way. although i would love to have a car with a rally ready race suspension. you know, one of those $8000 ohlins setups.
