does anyone know if the mcculloch hid kis have the igniters built into the ballasts or is it something extra you have to install. on the site i am loking at it says

Sticky Pads/Zip Ties

 

Not sure about the brand you are asking about but I would check HIDplanet.com. They are very knowledgeable there.

 

McCulloch HIDS are prolly one of the best units i have installed, their warrenty is very good as well. The only thing is, if you can afford to pay for McCulloch, then i suggest you fork out extra 40bucks and go with Prolumen. THey offer lifetime warrenty on ballasts and bulbs.

 

8000k = poop

 

fyi, 8000k is the most common bulbs purchased and installed on most cars. Those that know what they like, they will go for 5000k or 5500k. very rare will any1 buy 10,000k
