On cold days, it takes longer for it to start, meaning I have to hold the key longer before it'll kick over. Is this normal or should I think about getting a new battery?

If you have neon or what not it will happen a lot... It did to me, but i got a new battery and it still does it... and not even on cold days necessarily. Dont worry till the battery goes dead.

yep, when im on low on gas it takes a while to crank. i just changed my battery about a few weeks ago cuz that shiat kept on happening even when i had a full tank and when it wasnt cold. then it just wouldnt turn over at all. jumped the car and the next time i try to crank it up it wouldnt turn over. with my new battery, its not too bad when its cold but when im almost on E it still does it.

my 4th gen does the same thing. i got my battery checked out about a month or 2 ago and they said its at a good level and probly wouldnt need to be replaced for a while. i guess its just a normal thing
