Default Need new exhaust system...OEM or upgrade?

My muffler just...fell off. The front part of the muffler connection rusted away, and was going against the grain, if you know what I mean. If I would have hit a lip or grove on the road, it would have eff'ed up my rear end alot!

I have plain vanilla 91 LX 5sp Sedan. I need parts C (muffler) and B (resonator thing). Considering the cost of OEM parts (at repair shop), and for alittle bit more (eBay/online) I can get a whole new upgraded system (minus header).

I just read another post that Pace Setters are crappy. What whole system upgrade (w/ or w/o header) is a good brand?

I found some on eBay that seem too cheep to be true for upgrades. I see many JDM N1 Cat Back systems for ~$175 total.

If you go with the N1, people will hear you coming from 5 blocks away, not even kidding. But if that's what you're going for, go ahead.

APEXi systems costs $500 more or less
a custom exhaust costs $400 dollars more or a less

go to a muffler shop and have them put in an OEM equivalent replacement for $200

It's pricey if you can find it, but it sounds very nice and low...
You can actually hear the motor still.
