Hi
New to the forum. I have a 1994 Honda Accord that I just purchased and I can't get the trunk to close. It seems like all the parts move ok, I lubricated them and also looked for something in the way...but no luck. Anyone else had the problem?

i had the same problem with my 91 accord dx, with my car it was the cable running from the release latch in the car running to the trunk; it was stuck in the unlock position i just unfastened the cable and just use my key to unlock my trunk instead of the latch in the front of the car.

 

u probably need to readjust the clip that the latch grabs on to.

u can adjust it by losening the two bolts that hold them and move the clip up or down. if this doesnt work, try adjusting the latch itself.
