My question is the following I'm intersted in modifing my ingnition on my 94 honda accord 4 cylinder with v-tech eng. to an msd set up, an external coil(blaster or blaster ss) with msd cap & rotor. any one who's done this any pros/cons and any sites where I can purchase these items Thanks....

 

cons - 85% (i'm guestimating) of people on the forums that do it have problems that include but are not limited to 1. car not starting 2. car idles funky 3. loss of electrical power while driving 4. alternator goes bad

pros - the other 15% of people who've done it love it and say they feel a power increase and instant start when they turn on their car. note also that these people did a complete MSD system not just the ones you listed. the complete system runs about $1000 with all the stupid little boxes.

my opinion - not worth it and i would only do this mod if i was building a full-on turbo setup.
