45psi rear tires, 40psi front tire, NOW grinding noise? WTF?
The overinflated tires only increase ride harshness and accelerate wear. Deflate them to 32 psi and leave them there.
And if the car feels like it's running in sand, it's because the car is seventeen years old and probably down a bit on power. :screwy:
The grinding noise you hear on right turns is likely a worn CV joint or torn tie rod bushing. When you deflate the tires, check the axles for torn boots near the hub. If the boot has torn and the joint has run dry of grease, you'll need to replace the joint.

Help!!!
ALright so I'll admit it I run 45psi in my tires on my 1990 honda accord. They are rated for 44psi, its been fine so far. But now its winter, I need more control, so I took them down to 40psi ONLY in the front. Now I get a horrible grinding noise when I take right turns? Are hondas that sensative to running different PSI in the front and back? It sounds horrible, no ef'in clue why is this is happening...

Read your fvcking owner's manual or your door jamb. Not rocket science.
When the tire is mounted, the shop will inflate the tires to about 40 psi to seat the bead of the tire against the rim.
Once they're on the car, bring the pressure down to what the owner's manual specifies. That's 32 psi.

The recommended pressure in the doorjamb is for the stock-size tires. If you put wider tires, that changes things. But still, 45psi is awful high. There are valid reasons for going that high, but based on your question, you aren't measuring sidewall temperatures or anything like that...
