Default How do you get the steering wheel stereo remote to work again??

Hey guys,
I was wondering if you can help me get the steering remote to work once again. I installed an amp and new speakers to the original head unit. It sounds great but I cant seem to get the steering whell remote to work. I was wondering if there is a wire I miss when soldering or I have to do some type of code to link the remote to the stereo??? if you have any idea please let me know...much appreciated!

You have to take the steering wheel the cable real and the turn switch/wiper switch off. their is a little gold ring around the steering coulomb it is the contact for the steering wheel remote signal thy use this so there is no wires but is always contacted when you are turning your steering wheel. Dimple it in 8 places 45 degrees apart to get a better contact.

Thy have a bulletin for this if you are using the stock head unit with the stock remote switch.

There should be no reason why the controls wouldn't work unless you disconnected them or changed the headunit...I would call RCA.

ya, as long as you didnt touch any other wires besides the 8 speaker wires, theres no reason for the controls to stop working
