Default whats the auto tranny worth on the 5th gen accord

im goin to end up pullin my tranny and and swaping a manual in. whats the auto tranny worth. it has 80 k on it

My guess is you can probably get around $500-$600 for the entire unit. Could be off though, it's sort of a hard question to answer reliably.

The problem is, no one will trust that it is good working order. I ran into this problem doing my tranny swap. Ended up swapping the tranny for most of the parts...

hmm im gona try to do that. trade the auto for peddle boxes and lines and all that good fun stuff

what year of an accord is it. Mine is a 91 and i am gonna put a 5 speed in. how hard will it be.

mines a 94. its pretty hard from what i under stand. but i guess honda is set up for either auot or manaul. so its just swapin in clutch line and pedals cylinders and other crap. but i think u have to weld a mount

how hard is it to put in the clutch pedal? what is involved with that? is there any brackets that need to be welded?

LOL.. God Help You All


It's Not Fun

You Have To Re-Weld A New Tranny Mount, You Unbolt A Section In The Firewall To Let The Clutch Pedal Be Functional, You'll Need The 5spd Tranny, The Shift Linkage (Big $$$), A Bunch Of Shaped Copper Hardlines, A Master & Slave Cylinder, A Different 5spd ECU, A Re-Wire Of The OEM Auto Harness.

It REALLY REALLY REALLY Sucks, It's That Simple.

And Sourcing Parts Like The Shiftlinkage Is Hard As Hell
