Hey I was thinking of changing the dash color of certain parts, i.e the gauge cluster dash, and mebbe the vents, etc. to white. Originally i had thought of painting them, but heard of too many issues with that, such as chipping and wutnot. So instead i was thinking this. My car has a charcoal leather interior, but i remember that the eternal blue pearl car of 01 had an ivory leather interior. Couldn't I just switch out parts from my interior with that of the ivory to get that two tone look on my dash?

Yes you should be able to. I wouldn't mess with the guages though unless you/intaller know what their doing. Too many people make post of how they broke needles or messed up there guages when installing aftermarket ones.

 

i actually just looked at this last night, most of the bulbs that you would want to replace are just 194 bulbs. they slide in and out of this plastic clip that you can remove from the back of your gauges with a quarter of a turn. its pretty nice. they are like $1-2 a pair and there are 4 of them. if you dont do the whole thing, it will look funny because the bulbs are placed in the middles areas (like inbetween things) so they overlap areas.

the rest of the bulbs are smaller then the 194 but still the same concept, im not sure what those bulbs are called, im actually wondering myself

hey, where did u get the bulb condoms from? and do you know where to find 3mm LED, radio shack keeps tellin me they dont have them. someone also told me there was a contact paper to use that comes in colors for the clock and ODO instead of a bulb comdon because they wear out. anyone know anything about this? where i can find any of this? thank you
