Default Cruise Control Problem 99 Accord

Hello all!
I am new to the list and I am hoping for help. A couple weeks ago the brake light switch went out on my 99 Accord EX (automatic). I replaced it and noticed that the cruise control was no longer working. The switch on the dash lights up when depressed, but the speed will not set at all. I suspected that I had a bad replacement switch so I bought another one and still have the same problem. Any suggestions? I checked the fuses and they all appear to be OK.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Frank

Back your brake switch out a bit. Cruise control will cancel if you hit the brakes. The brake switch is a double switch 2 wires for the lights and 2 for the cruise. the cruise side is very sensitive.

Or test you cruise set button you can download manuals at hondatech.info . It could also be a lot of other crap like a cut wire. Down load the etm (electrical trouble shooting manual) flit to cruise control thy have a system description.

Well upon more careful inspection I discovered that the bracket that holds the brake light switch was slightly bent. I bent it back and that fixed the cruise control. Thanks for your help!!!!
