Default 95 Honda Accord Heater

Has anyone else had problems with their accord's heater system? It blows plenty of air it seems like, but its just not very warm.

Seems odd that in my V6 engine the heater is cold, but in my old 4 Cylinder it was warm in 2 minutes or less even on a cold day.

In the accord, the only way for it to really seem warm in there car is when I drive at around 60mph for about ten minutes. I cant leave the car to idol because it doesnt really do any good anyway.

Any suggestions at all?

How does the temperature gauge behave? If the thermostat is stuck open, the gauge (the engine) will take forever to heat up & it'll cool down when idling.

Another alternative is one of the heater control cables is broken or disconnected or something. There's one cable going down to an air door near passengers foot; then another cable from there out thru the firewall to the heater valve.

Well, it doesnt seem like the gauge on the inside of the car really moves a whole lot upward. It does move a tiny bit but goes down if it idles for more than a few minutes.

Okay, so does anyone have step-by step instructions and possibly dia-grams (or a website) that will show me how to change the thermostat?
