Default ideal rim and tire size for cd5 accord(94-95)

hi im new to this forum board and i was wondering if someone on here can help me out. yeah i know, i currently own a integra type r and all but i also just purchased a 95 4dr accord yesterday. its always been a dream to own one of these.. i picked up the car for real cheap. it has some front end damage but anyways. i was wondering if some of you forum board veterans can help me out. i was wondering if 16's were too small? or if 17's are too big.? yeah see as you can see im a little lost right now. i personally thought that 17's would be perfect. if anything give me your opinion. thanks.

Go for the 17's probably a 42 or 45 offset with 215 45 size tires hope this helps you.

yeah 17's are a good size 16's would probably look to small because tha accord has big wheel wells, a 215 45 would b great, it'll give u a decent sidewall and it'll fill out the wells just fine with room to spare though, u can top it off with a nice 1'' drop u would get the perfect stance

i have 215/40/17 on mine (96 accord) and the wheel gap is horrible... haven't gotten around to lowering but if and when i do, i don't want to lower it much @ all, just enough to even it out a little, i can't stand to see a car dropped so low it bounces down the road looking like there's no suspension under it

thank you all ^^ i will definatly go with the 17" wheels. with a tire size of 215/ 45.... hopefully as soon as i get my tig welder i can start producing my own suspension parts for accords. knowing that there isnt many parts out there for the accord owners i want to prove to some of the honda owners ( civic and integra owners) that accords can also be a piece of work for track enviroments.

i lowered my accord a good 2-3" and i was considering 18"s would they be to big and possibly rub the fender when turning?

I run 217/45/17s on my '00 Accord...the wheel wells are about the same size as a 5th gen. I dropped mine 1 inch and its stance is perfect.

ya i have 14" on right now (studded snow tires) and the is about 3/4" between the tires and the edge of the fender
but the tires i have on right now are quite large
good thing i have stiff suspension since i lowered it
i guess ill just have 2 measure the diameter of my tires now and see if 18"s with low pros fit that diameter
