93 Accord Electrical Problem - Battery & Alt. are Good
Can anyone help? Here's what happens - after driving awhile the
intrument panel starts flashing, car surges and dies. I was able to jump
it and drive it home, a few blocks. The battery was replaced last week prior
to that happening. Then I had the alternator bench tested > good.
In the forums I've read aboud ground issues, ignition, coil etc. but
no posts describe the same symtoms I'm having.

maybe ignition coil, ignitor, distributor, battery connections. the ground wire that causes alot of issues on this model of accord is the one under the distributor cap by the thermostat sensor. i have a 92 and got antifreeze on it and it went bad. the wire didnt come off but it caused a mirad of problems before someone finally figured it out. i had to have it towed 4 times to 4 different places before someone figured it out.
i changed my battery cable ends to regular fat ones u can get at autozone and i have an expensive battery i cant remember the brand red top those 2 things fixed any battery issues i had. i still have the original alternator.
the ignitor is under the distributor cap. the ignition coil is easy to replace its on the passenger side of the engine. cars this old all sorts of stuff starts to go.
