Helm manual help
I need to change to oil pan on 99 V6 Accord and was wondering if any one could send me the instructions/procedure from the Helm manual to do this.
From what I gathered from reading posts, I need to drain the oil, remove the downpipe, then unbolt the pan. I went to a dealer to get the pan and the parts guy told me that there is no gasket. He just use the Hondaseal(liquid gasket in the tube) but I read on some post the I need to use this in addition to the gasket but I dont know which gasket they are talking about. Hopefully a helms manual will clear this up.
If anyone has any input that will help please do share. I will greatly appreciate it.

I've got a Helm book but it's not for the V-6, so I can't really verify that there's no gasket...
Earlier 4-cyl engines use a rubber gasket, & you put a little bit of HondaBond in a couple specific places. Lots of people post things that don't apply to ALL years & ALL engines. Honda makes changes over the years.
