Default 1996 Accord rear seatbelt prob

Checked the post's and didnt see anything on this --anyone have issues with the rear seatbelt not retracting back in---Not sure how to correct this? Any suggestions---Tks

I had the same problem with my '93. Never figured out what the deal was. I'm betting it was a kink in the belt. You'll probably have to take it apart which may be a pain in the neck. Good luck.

I was thinking the same thing--not sure where to begin--guess I'm going to have to start taking trim pieces off ---was hoping someone had already been there. Tks

is that ur middle belt? cause its suppose to hang like that, it doesnt have the thing to pull it back.

but if it is one of the side belts, then u should open it up and check to see wahts stopping it also put some grease in there w//o touching the belt itself.

Before you do anything, call a dealer. Back in '96 Honda had a seatbelt warranty 'for the life of the vehicle'.

yeah, forgot about that, all the seat belts (retractable) have a life time warranty. all years
