At 190K I'd be weary of putting much money into a car that is probably worth about $3000. If you replaced it, it would only be worth it if you did all the work yourself. I might go with a rebuilt with a honda warranty if you can get one. A used might very well be close to gone as well so I doubt I'd mess with that.

its in prestine condition. engine still the cleanest ive ever seen. runs perfect. i can get 4k out of it easy, when it moves...
Honda may cover some of the cost, I just have to take it in tomorrow. What they cover/dont cover will decide what i do with it.

If you are the original owner, or have owned it for at least 2 years - the American Honda DPSM for your area may consider a goodwill authorization. Ask your dealership's service manager.
Chances are your 2nd clutch is beginning to wear out and will only get worse. If you are somewhat handy with the tools, you could rebuild it yourself for around $300. Otherwise I would take everyone else's advice and unload it to the dealership.

I had my tranny rebuilt at 100K miles. Also Accord EX-V6 sedan.
At the time Honda were out of rebuilt trannies so I had no choice of taking it to AAMCO which did a good job for an astronomical price of $3100. The rebuilt tranny with Honda warrenty was about that installed.
When they open the tansmission I looked inside. I am pretty handy but I would not do transmission. It is too complicated.
At 190KMiles, I would sell the car.

And for those talking goodwill consideration, this car has 190k freaking miles  They won't cover a dime.

Like what the others said, give up the car. We all get some emotional attachment to our cars, specially if we owned and driven it for over 2-3 years. This time you have to think logically!
