96-middle relay above fuse box-anyone know what it controls?
It's a power relay (RC-2225 four prong) that seems to make my car able to crank when I push on it. I found this by feeling which relays clicked when I was turning the key to start when the starter would just click. I swapped it with a spare I had and the car fired up. But if I move the relay alittle, it does the same as the original one.
Either my original one, or the fuse panel itself seems to be affected by either length of time the car is running or when the interior gets warm enough that it shuts down this relay or affects the contacts it's attached to. If I let the car sit for a few hours, it cranks up fine.
