The first things I would try if my car was running too lean would be the checking the intake tract for leaks and changing the fuel filter.

I had the mechanic check for Vacuum leaks around the throttle body but no leaks found ... I will change the fuel filter now ... I can't find it on the fire wall or even in the fuel line. I have a 98 Accord EX ... does anyone know where to find it ? Thanks !

 

Based on my experience with an earlier accord Id look behind the engine low on the firewall.

check your voltage to the fuel pump and if you have really good ground
