i personally say we hold off on the meet. the weather here is starting to get real cold, and it wont be fun standing outside for awhile chit chatting in the cold etc. if you wait until spring time, it gives us more time to spread the word, which means getting more people for a better time and bigger turnout. plus with warmer weather, people will want to attend, along with them being able to attend because school will be out along with their cars.
spring would be better.

yeah we may decide to wait at this point. beside the park people arent getting back to me. :fawk: them all. we will, i assure you all, get a mass meet going sometime in the near future. we want this as much as you guys do.

scratch that. i just heard from the people at Mt Tom State Park. The meet is official however it is now NOV 9 since this weekend will be crappy and im sure people have already made other plans.
So now here it is. 12 noon Nov 9 Mt Tom State Park.
From 91s exit 18 to rt 5. follow rt 5s maybe 2 miles to Smith Ferry Road. Take a right on Smith Ferry Road and follow it into the park. Continue past the park headquarters past the lake to a picnic area and parking lot. Thats where we'll be.
From 91n get off at exit 17b (i believe) rt.5 exit. follow rt.5n to Smith Ferry Road. take a left and follow the directions above.
rules of the park are as follows.
1) No alcohol. period.
2) Area is to be left cleaner than when we got there so be kind and throw away all your trash.
3) No reckless driving ie no peelouts, donuts, etc. be kind to the park as they are being kind to us by allowing us to have this meet.
Expect to shell over some money for food. we will be bringing a couple of habachis to grill burgers and dogs on. if you want anything else bring it.
At this point i would now like to get an official count on who is going to be there and if and how many people you are bringing.
