hey guys,

sorry about the lack of posting, i was in NY for the weekend with RSXoholic. We are working with the parks department here. Chances are, as of now, the meet will either be at Mt. Tom state park in holyoke or at chicopee state park about 30 mins south of amherst.

We have to call the supervisors of the parks directly and get a special use permit which is gonna run of 50 dollars. I'll take care of it so long as people throw in when they get there.

Just to be clear, the permit makes us liable for anything that goes on so we are trusting everyone to be mature at the meet and not try to do any stupid street racing or anything else overly obnoxious where its not welcome.

Anyways, we should know by the end of the week where its going to be and we'll post here along with directions to where it is. We are gonna BBQ as well so everyone should plan to bring about 5-7 to cover the permit and the food. RSXoholic and I will cover everything out of pocket so long as we ahve some idea whether or not we can get it back.

If anyone is curious about bringing a case of beer or whatnot, I'll find out what the regulations are regarding that this week. In any case, keep posting if you are interested, as of now, we plan for this meet to happen. . .

That sounds good, I think Holyoke/chicopee would be easier to get to since it's closer to the pike.

ok guys, as of now i think the meet will be at mt. tom state park in holyoke. We have to call up and make the permit arrangements but i think thats going to work the best. Everyone let me know what time the meet should be. I was thinking like 2 oclock so the NY and NH people dont have to get up crazy early to get to it. . . let me know.

I think 12:00 would be better since if it's a BBQ it's great timing, it's warmer in the middle of the day, and I don't think people from NY or NH want to drive home when it's dark.

Hey, I leave my house at 6:30 in the morning for work, so leaving at 9:00 or so on a Saturday is sleeping in for me.
